Your wedding day is one of the best memories you want to take with you to your 70’s or 80’s. Well, of course, you want to take your spouse as well to the 70’s!

But the wedding memories are a happy place you go back to in the middle of say making Gulab Jamuns for your family. Remembering how your better-half fed you the Gulab Jamun on your wedding lunch. When on the other side, people including the cameraman were peeping you while you eat. 🙂

Don’t you think, at times, how our Indian way of doing things is so beautiful?

I mean seriously our way of celebrating a Marriage or Festivals brings everyone closer and gives a reason to live longer and witness life! All the people who attend the wedding give you memories. They make you feel happy about finding a soul mate and are here to celebrate the happy milestone with you.

Imagine how our phone galleries and photo albums would be like if there were no Marriage or Festival Celebrations!

There is a very magical story behind every click during the wedding days.

Those deliberate poses, props, cameraman asking to move closer, and candid poses of course!

I know it gets tiresome to pose for every photograph with all the families who come to wish you but isn’t it the most beautiful thing about our Indian culture that we have a lot of people to celebrate our happy milestones!

Photos have a very important task for every couple to do in their life. May it be to understand how you have matured and disciplined yourselves with time or to have a reality check of how you need to go back to the loving couple you were!

Handmade Paintings Are The Solution!

Before these life-changing memories get lost in some pages of the album, treasure them in some or the other way to keep you reminding of the love you both had on your wedding day, and it will spice up things.

One way you may consider is by getting a handmade painting from the wedding photos.

Imagine a Handmade Oil Portrait of one of the best photos of your wedding day in your living room! It would look so magnificent and stunning. And of course, you are not doing the same old photo frames which are digitally printed and have no life to them.

You may visit PortraitFlip who make handmade couple portraits from photos by clicking here, they deliver the painting anywhere in the world in mediums like Oil, Charcoal, Pencil, Color Pencil, Watercolor, and Acrylic.

Watch what happens when someone receives a handmade painting as a surprise here or see more of their work here.

Handmade Paintings Over Photographs.

  1. Aren’t you bored of the same old digitally printed photo frames?
  2. Decorate your walls with a portrait painting instead as it is a unique way to treasure your moments plus when an artist splashes real colors on the canvas it creates a lively experience for the viewers.
  3. And of course, you want to give a couple goals, right!

In A Nutshell.

The journey of a girl is very long; enjoy the journey from being a girl to a woman to a mother to hopefully a grandmother! The journey is long and there are going to be a lot of memories treasure them with a handmade painting and keep reliving them.

With its thriving dynamic culture, a booming economy and an environmentally sustainable way of life, Singapore are rightfully considered as one of the best cities in Asia to settle in. No wonder, every year many people consider applying for Singapore Permanent Residents or PR for a better quality of life.

But becoming a Singapore citizen also means you are eligible to enjoy all these benefits and a lot more. So if you are a current pass holder – S Pass, Employment Pass, Personalised Employment Pass or Entrepreneur Pass Holder – or a Student Pass Holder – who has passed at least one national exam and lived in the country for at least two years – wondering if it’s worth investing your time and money in the long application process for the PR, we are here to explain a list of advantages you will enjoy once you have a Singapore Blue Card.

Top 15 Benefits of Singapore PR

Becoming a permanent resident in the Lion City means – in a nutshell – you will get to avail a wide range of benefits and freedoms like a normal citizen of the country. But what does that really mean?

Live, enter and leave hassle-free – Once you have acquired permanent residency in the Lion City, your Blue Card acts as your most vital identity document. You get the independence of not having to apply for a separate Singapore visa for travel or work every time you fly out.

Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) for immediate family – As a PR in this little red dot you can apply for LTVP for your dependent or spouse. Your family gets to enjoy a stable immigration option for long term stay in the country.

Sponsor PR for immediate family – Immigration to the Republic for your immediate family gets easier. With a PR you are allowed to sponsor your spouse and kids for Permanent Residence.

Better employment opportunities – Acquiring permanent residency means you no longer need to apply for work permits or submit Letters of Consent every time you change jobs. This applies to any full time or part-time employment in all sectors including government employment. The PR also allows you to work in more than one part-time job, freelance and contractual employments.

Better business opportunities – As an Employment Pass holder you are not allowed to be a sole proprietor of a business, but with a PR you can! You can start your dream venture in the most vibrant economy in Asia, rise on top as directors and officers in most Singapore companies and reap the benefits of the country’s entrepreneur-focused economy.

Employment ease – Like many other countries companies in the Republic prefer to hire candidates with PR, than foreigners. Usually, because it means fewer paper works, legal formalities and expenses involved.

Employment for family members – If your dependent or spouse with LTVP finds a job, they can apply for Letters of Consent to start working in Singapore.

Retiring in Singapore – Although Singapore doesn’t offer a Retirement Visa, you are allowed to stay in the country post-retirement and live off your pension and savings.

Buy second-hand HDB units – 3 years after you receive the PR, you are eligible to buy resale public housing leaseholds. You also enjoy a higher priority to get various loans – such as housing loan – to buy properties.

Buy second-hand condos – Unlike foreigners, PRs are not restricted to buying a resale executive condo that is older than 10 years.

Better chance at buying landed properties – Foreigners need to overcome laws set in place to restrict them from buying landed properties like terrace housing or bungalows. However, PRs are more likely to earn the approval of the Ministry of Law to buy these properties.

Lower stamp duty – On real estate purchase PRs have to pay significantly lower Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty rate than a foreigner.

Access Central Provident Fund (CPF) – Foreigners and non-PRs are not eligible for CPF in Singapore. CPF is a compulsory social security savings plan for citizens and PRs. Also, CPF contributions made by the employer are non-taxable and contributions made by you can be used for tax relief purposes.

Privileges to visit foreign countries – As a holder of Singapore, passport PRs enjoy higher freedom to visit foreign countries. That includes visa-free entry to a number of countries, greater odds of obtaining visa approval, long–term visas and lower cost of visas.

Path to citizenship – Obtaining PR is the only realistic path available to foreigners to get citizenship in the country after waiting for 2 years.

Paul Immigrations Reviews: Stress-Free PR Application

If you are looking for a simplified, stress-free way to get PR to reap all the benefits (and many more) listed above, Paul Immigrations is here to help. The PR application process can certainly seem long and baffling for many and this is where the company’s years of expertise come handy.

Organizing the necessary documents for PRs is the first and most important task, which can understandably be a little daunting. As it happens with many PR applicants applying without the help of experienced professional guidance, one or more documents get missing and make their application invalid. The consultancy is here to do the task for you and make sure every document is in place. They will also arrange the additional documents – including Letters of Recommendation – to show your best qualities and contributions in the country. For a better chance of approval, the company’s in-house writers will craft personalized cover letters that reflect the strength of your application.

Paul Immigrations Reviews: Step by Step Guidance All the Way

On your path to PR, you are required to submit a wide lot of documents. One mistake and your application turn invalid. The process is tiresome, sometimes confusing and without a guiding hand can sure seem lonely. This is why hiring an immigration specialist like Paul Immigrations can be helpful; it will prevent any time wastage as well as offer you peace of mind while the company guides you through the procedure. At every step of the application process, the company will help you with their years of insight and expertise. All you need is to have the patience to make your big Singapore PR dream come true.

planning to move house

Planning your House Move –

Why do you need to think of (almost) everything when you are planning to move house – Moving home can be a very stressful time. Therefore, it is good to be well prepared before the moving date so that there is nothing that has been forgotten or left to chance.

It is a good idea to make sure that you have food provisions and beverages packed so that if any member of your moving team or family gets thirsty or hungry, there is something there ready for them. In addition to this, it is also wise to make sure that you know where your local take-out or diner is so that you do not have to cook on your first night at your new home, and you can just relax and put your feet upon arrival.

Planning your Move –

It is important to plan your house to move down to the finest detail so that it has every chance of going as smoothly as possible with little or no hiccups at all.

If you are packing your own boxes, make sure that they are well labeled with what is inside them and that which room they belong to is written clearly on each face of the box. This is so that you will be able to see where they are going regardless of how they are stored or stacked. It is also a good idea to mark each surface of boxes that contain fragile items so that they are not stored at the bottom of stacks where their delicate contents can be broken or damaged.

Also, when packing, be sure to pack your essentials in a separate overnight bag so that when you get to your new home, you will not have to go rooting through boxes to find items that you need if you are too tired to start unpacking straight away.

Moving pets is more stressful than you think, while planning to move house –

It is important that you think about your pets when you are moving and the stress it can have on them. Seeing everything getting packed up around them can cause anxious behavior and a feeling of insecurity.

Where possible, it is a good idea to hand them over to a friend or a family member to look after, where they are used to going, until all your items are out of your old home. If possible, unpacking their items and making them feel comfortable should be one of your priorities.

When it comes to moving larger animals than cats and dogs, you will need to look into specialist transportation such as Shiply for your horse transport. Looking into the transport of this kind can take a long time, especially as this is due to finding a business that you are comfortable and confident with to look after larger animals. However, by going to a business such as that are reputable transportation brokers, you may find that finding the right business for you at the right price may not take as long as you think, giving you more time to make sure that your horse is as comfortable and prepped for travel as it can be.

Supporting your kids –

A house move that involves a school or college move for kids is more stressful than most people account for, especially if your kid is not an outward and confident type.

There is the stress of leaving friends and classmates behind and not knowing whether there will be a connection to continue afterward. Along with not knowing anyone where they are going and trying to enter into friend groups that are already well-founded and close-knit.

Some kids have great trouble adjusting to new surroundings, and that is not just in the new home itself but also within the surrounding areas.

A way of helping your kids adapt is to listen to them, take notice of how they are within themselves, and watch closely for any change. They may not want to talk to a parent, and it could very well be beneficial to try and keep a connection with an old friend in your previous town so that your kid has someone they know and trust to confide in, especially if they are of the same or similar age as your kid.

Moving your tech

When it comes to moving your tech, you need to make sure that the removal company that you have chosen is fully insured and that the insurance covers the price of your items should they get damaged or broken during the move. It is wise to read the small print when it comes to any type of insurance, but especially for removal companies. This is because, for some of the businesses, it states that the items must be packed by the removal company for them to be covered under their insurance policy. This is to say that if you pack it, they load it into their van, but when it reaches the other end, it is damaged, then you will not be covered by their insurance for a claim.

If you are moving it yourself, make sure to pack it correctly using the item’s original packing, if at all possible, to protect against damage. Also, unless your cables are color-coded, it is a good idea to label your cables so that you know at a glance what piece of tech they belong to. This will make setting up in your new home a lot faster and easier.
